We take a base color vinyl, typically white, and the artwork is printed on a digital printing machine. All of our vinyl stickers can be painted over with a clear coat.
Though not actually cut by a die, we still use this name for reference. The artwork and or text are computer cut into a single color vinyl. The machine actually has a small cutter that takes the line work of the graphics to be created and cuts out around them. This is partly why we typically need a vector artwork file to create your graphics. To create a multiple color design, each individual color is die cut and then they are assembled upon installation to create the final design.
The artwork is printed onto a single color base vinyl and then die cut out into the design. We can create some really cool effects this way and it gives you lots of different options to create your design idea.
Some of you may know that we have done a high temperature sticker in the past that is suitable for powder coating. We are in the process of phasing out that material and will no longer be to accomodate those orders.
